Universities and Colleges

How it Works

All the prospectus and course brochure content can be put into an electronic content warehouse and a system of rules constructed to respond to the web based enquiry from a potential student.  When the enquirer registers their contact details and chooses the information he/she would like, the relevant components are selected within the electronic warehouse according to the rules defined and two outputs can be created:

  • a print file that contains personalised information selected by the enquirer and some generic content common to all enquiries
  • web pages that mirror the printed information and provide links to other parts of the University/College website and other HE/FE links

At the end of each day the print file that contains the output from all enquirers is digitally printed and fulfilled so that each enquirer receives a personalised prospectus that includes their requested course details within 24-48 hrs.  If required, this personal brochure could contain a ‘call to action’ for the student to register at the University/College website and have exclusive access to a personalised set of webpages where they can continue their investigation.

Future communication with such a prospective student can then be orchestrated to combine printed and web based information according to the student’s preference.

In addition, other forms of collateral can be derived from this content warehouse and printed on demand, such as course brochures and faculty/school brochures that can be used later in the recruitment cycle.
